The Hague: The 30th session of the political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands was held in The Hague today.
The Omani side was chaired by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, whilst the Netherlands side was chaired by Christiaan Rebergen, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and means of promoting them in various economic areas to serve the joint interests. They also discussed a set of regional and international issues of common concern.
The session was attended by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Salim Al Harthy, Ambassador of Oman to the Netherlands and some officials from both sides. Meanwhile, Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy exchanged viewpoints on some issues with the Foreign Affairs Advisor with the Dutch Prime Minister. They also discussed means of promoting bilateral relations.
