Oman announces Fees for issuing and renewing licences for expats recruitment

Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Labour announces the changes in fees for issuing and renewing licences for expats recruitment

In a statement : The Ministry of Labor announced the classification of professions in private sector establishments in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. (12/2021) regarding fees for issuing and renewing licenses for the recruitment and practice of non-Omani manpower.

The cost ranging between OMR 2000 to 600 announced in the new changes by Ministry of Labour

According to Ministry of labour more than 30 professionals amounts about OMR 2,000 including university president, general director, college dean, social expert.

Also more than 100 medium professions amounts about OMR 1000 including port manages, postal manage, statistics director, planning director and investment managers , as per the details found in the circular from ministry of labour .

The fees for issuing and renewing licenses for expats recruitment in more than 400 technical and specialised professions amount about OMR 600, including veterinarian, financial analyst, pharmacist, psychological counselor, sign language specialist, as per the circular issued from ministry of labour.
