Oman announces flexible working hours system

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has decided to implement the flexible working system in all units of stat’s administrative apparatus during the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement Oman News Agency said: The Ministry of Labor decided to implement the flexible working system in all units of the state’s administrative apparatus that apply the civil service law, so that the employee is allowed to work in a double-shift system, equivalent to (5) working hours per day, provided that attendance in the first shift is from 8 am until 1 pm, and the second shift from 9 am until 2 pm afternoon, during the holy month of Ramadan.
