    • Oman announces holidays for Eid Al-Fitr

    Muscat: Minister of Manpower issues ministerial decision on the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday for the year 1442 for employees in the units of the state’s administrative apparatus and other legal persons and employees in private sector establishments as of Wednesday 29 Ramadan 1442 from May 12 . The holiday ends according to the following two alternatives:

    1, If the first day of Eid falls on Thursday, May 13, then the holiday ends on Saturday, May 15, and official working hours will resume on Sunday, May 16.

    2, If the first day of the Eid falls on Friday, May 14, the holiday ends on Monday, May 17, and the official working hours will resume on Tuesday, May 18.
