    Muscat: An official holiday has been announced on Thursday, January 12, 2023 on the occasion of Accession Day.

    “Based on the royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. Thursday, January 12, is an official holiday for employees in the public and private sectors, on the occasion of the day the Sultan assumed the reins of power in the country,” Oman TV said
