Muscat: Oman’s Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) announces prices for Covid-19 test in Private Health Institutions

In a statement issues by Consumer Protection Authority said: Regarding the procedures that the Sultanate’s Government is taking to limit the spread of Cornavirus (Covid-19) and what the Ministry of Health is doing to put a mechanism to organize the Covid-19 test prices in the private health institutions.

Based on the efforts and beliefs of the authority by the complimentary role and the mutual work between the government authorities to achieve the public benefits, we would like to inform all that the authority is following the test’s prices in the institutions that the ministry identified to do it. The authority recalls the private health institutions for the necessity to oblige with the prices that ministry of health identifies under its announcement number 16/2021 which ensures the health service receiver’s right in non-exploiting him due to these exceptional circumstances, said in the statement CPA
