    Statement of Sighting the Crescent of Month Rajab 1445 AH Praise be to Allah and prayer and peace be upon His Messenger Mohammad.

    Muscat: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) announces that the Crescent of Month Rajab 1445 AH was sighted after the sunset today eveneing.

    In a statement MERA said: “The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announces that the Crescent of Month Rajab 1445 AH was sighted after the sunset of this evening, Friday 29th Jumada Al-Akhirah 1445 AH (12th January 2024).

    Therefore, tomorrow i.e. Saturday (13th January 2024) will mark the beginning of Rajab 1445 AH.

    We ask Allah Almighty to bless this month and the rest of the months, and may He grant us with success and prosperity.”
