Outcome of Voting to Select Topics of “Together We Progress” Forum Announced in Oman

Muscat: The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers announced the outcome of voting launched to select topics for discussion at the forum titled “Together We Progress”. The voting process, aimed to activate communication between the government and society, took place between 16 and 23 October 2024.

The process saw the participation of 19,360 citizens (male and female) from different governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

The topic of “Economy and Development” gathered the largest number of votes (63%), followed by “Governorates Development” topic (25%) and the topic of “Private Sector and Investment” (12%).

Apart from the topics already set in the questionnaire, the topic of “Social Protection System” topped the topics most requested for discussionby society.

The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers will later announce the start of registration of citizens to attend the forum’s activities via an electronic link.
