Muscat: Oman announces working hours for Ramadan 2021
In a statement Oman news agency said: His Excellency Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the Civil Service Council, issued today a decision requiring that the official working hours in the ministries, public bodies and other units of the state’s administrative apparatus be during the blessed month of Ramadan 1442 from 9 am until 2 pm.
On the occasion of the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan 1442 AH, it has been decided that the official working hours for employees in the units of the state’s administrative apparatus and other legal persons shall be from 9 am to 2 pm.
It was also decided to reduce the working hours for Muslim workers in private sector establishments to 6 hours per day at a rate of 30 hours per week.
