Muscat: Oman’s CAA announces mandatory Institutional quarantine for expat families with children from 11 May 2021
In a statement Oman Civil Aviation Authority CAA said: Based on the decision made by the Supreme Committee for dealing with (Covid-19) issues on 4th May 2021, the civil aviation authority would like to inform the travelers arriving into the sultanate and all airlines operating in the sultanate that has been decided the following:
Institutional quarantine applies to all non-0mani arrivals into the sultanate, including families with children under the age of 18, with effective from 18:00 (oman local time) on Tuesday 11th May 2021.
The home quarantine for omani citizens and the other categories excluded under previous circulars will continue to be in place , taking into consideration that the excluded categories will be subject to the approved procedures upon arriving in the sultanate, said in the statement CAA.
