Muscat: Oman’s CAA clarifies on flights between India to Oman

In a statement The Civil Aviation Authority clarifies regarding “limited flights between the Sultanate and the Republic of India”.  said: Currently limited flights between the Sultanate and India are working to facilitate the return of Omani citizens in addition to shipping the necessary supplies to the Sultanate and transporting the citizens of India wishing to return to their country, as these flights are subject to health requirements before travel and upon arrival.

Also, The Civil Aviation Authority added that the Indian flight (Air India Express) that arrived at Salalah Airport this afternoon coming from the city of Cochin, the Republic of India, had only three passengers on board, who are medical teams excluded from India, and the flight departed from Salalah airport an hour after its arrival. Carrying 100 passengers on board, added in the statement CAA.

The Supreme Committee suspended arrivals from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and passenger from any other country if they have passed through any of these countries during 14 days preceding the application for entry to the Sultanate from 24th April 2021 until further notice .
