Labour Ministry Urges Early Payment of March Wages Ahead of Eid Al-Fitr

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has issued a circular calling on private sector establishments in the Oman to expedite the payment of workers’ wages for March 2026 on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr for the year 1447 AH.

The Ministry stated that all establishments subject to the Labour Law issued under Royal Decree No. 53/2023 are required to disburse workers’ wages no later than Wednesday, 18 March 2026.

The step aims to enable workers to meet their needs ahead of the Eid holiday and reflects the Ministry’s keenness to ensure the timely payment of wages and the welfare of employees in the private sector.
