Badr Al Busaidi Reviews Regional Situation with Arab Envoys
Muscat: Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Oman, held a meeting today with several ambassadors of Arab countries accredited to the Sultanate.
The meeting comes as part of ongoing consultations conducted by the Foreign Minister over the past few days to review regional developments in light of the war involving Israel and the United States against the Iran, and its repercussions on the interests of countries across the region.
During the meeting, Al Busaidi outlined Oman’s position, which stresses the importance of joint Arab action and the exercise of political and diplomatic pressure to halt the war and contain its consequences. He underscored that such efforts are essential to safeguard the supreme interests of the region and the safety of its peoples.
The meeting was attended by Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at the Foreign Ministry; Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs; and Faisal bin Omar Al Marhoon, Head of the Arab Department at the Foreign Ministry.
