

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al-Said,, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, delivered a speech on the occasion of Omani Youth Day.
The celebration, aired via videoconferencing, HH Sayyid Theyazin said, “We are pleased to extend our sincere congratulations to youth of Oman on the occasion of Omani Youth Day, which the Sultanate celebrates on 26th October every year; Firm and firm belief in their vital role in continuing the building process of Oman’s renewed renaissance, putting before us their aspirations and hopes for a brighter future in which they contribute to the prosperity and flourishment of Oman.
His Highness Sayyid Theyazin added, “The Sultanate’s government has paid great attention to the youth since the outset of the blessed renaissance, and has harnessed all the capabilities that enable them to carry out their responsibilities in advancing the process of construction and development and continuing the achievements to reach their goals and aspirations, young Omanis have proven that they are of a high level of national responsibility and fully aware of their contemporary issues. Taking the causes of advancement and progress according to a clear vision and a strong mission to participate in building Oman’s renewed renaissance, open to the other and his culture of coexistence with love and peace.
His Highness Sayyid Theyazin explained that, in pursuance of this wise tradition, the speeches and directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham have laid emphasis on the significance of promoting youth and according them proper care, since they are the wealth and everlasting resource of this nation. This attention culminated in the establishment of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth to serve as an overarching premise for youth ambitions, innovations and aspirations.”
His Highness Sayyid Theyazin added that Emphasizing the vital role of youth, Omani youth participated in formulating Oman Vision 2040, which the government relies on youth for achieving progress, growth and prosperity, as the vision focused on the importance of developing their knowledge and skills and supporting them to adopt national projects and initiatives that contribute to advancing development while keeping pace with the development the world is witnessing. In the fields of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, science and the emergence of new economic activities.
