Muscat: Represented by the State Audit Institution (SAI), the Sultanate of Oman chaired the 29th meeting of the GCC Anti-Corruption Experts Committee.
The meeting, held at the GCC Secretariat General’s premises in Riyadh, reviewed the financial disclosure guide and discussed the views of competent departments about the guide.
The meeting also looked into the joint GCC education system’s anti-corruption enlightenment programme, which was prepared by the State Audit Institution after studying the proposals of member states’ competent bodies. The programme seeks to enhance the culture of integrity among students at different educational stages.
The meeting exchanged views on relevant topics, including preparations for the GCC Excellence Award on Protecting Integrity and Combating Corruption. – ONA
