Muscat: Oman Club won the title of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth Handball Shield for the 2022/2023 sports season, after winning the final match against Al-Seeb Club, which was held this evening at the main hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher.
The final match was sponsored by His Excellency Basil bin Ahmed Al-Rawas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth, in the presence of Dr. Saeed bin Ahmed Al-Shehri, President of the Omani Handball Association.
The first half ended with Oman Club advancing 18/15, and in the second half Oman Club continued its progress, ending the match with a score of 28/23. With this victory, Oman Club combined the league title and the shield for the first time in its history, and Oman Club also achieved its second title in the Ministry Shield competition.
