Oman College of Health Sciences celebrates the graduation of 1,640 students

Muscat: The Ministry of Health celebrated the graduation of new batches of students from the Oman College of Health Sciences who hold bachelor’s degrees and diplomas in health specializations for the academic years (2019/2020), (2020/2021) and (2021/2022) in Muscat Governorate and its branches (1640) male and female graduates.

The ceremony was held in the Grand Hall at Sultan Qaboos University, sponsored by His Excellency Sheikh Nasr bin Amer bin Shuwain Al Hosani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor, in the presence of a number of their Excellencies and officials in the Ministry, a number of government and military agencies, members of the teaching and administrative staff in educational institutions, parents of graduates and a group of invitees.

The program of the ceremony included a speech by Prof. Dr. Mustafa bin Fahmi bin Muhammad – Dean of the Oman College of Health Sciences – in which he said: The graduation of these batches comes and has been provided with the science, specialized knowledge and training necessary to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market and the needs of society.

He added: The Oman College of Health Sciences, with its various branches, has its primary goal to ensure the provision of high-quality health education, in accordance with international standards, and it always seeks to develop its academic services in line with and meets the requirements and needs of the labor market, by adopting the philosophy of self-learning. For students in solving problems facing them and self-learning for life according to strategic plans that focus on scientific research and innovation, which guarantees the college the graduation of qualified and trained cadres capable of innovation, creativity and achieving leadership in their field of specialization.
