Oman Dispatches Major Relief Convoy to Gaza with Thousands of Tents
Muscat: The Oman Charitable Organization (OCO) announced the readiness of the land bridge designated to transport thousands of tents provided by the Sultanate of Oman to the Gaza Strip. The convoy is expected to move within the coming hours toward the Rafah crossing.
Badr bin Mohammed Al Zaabi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Organization, stated that the aid is expected to enter the Gaza Strip within the next three days. He affirmed that the Organization is directly supervising the manufacturing, loading, and transport processes to ensure the assistance reaches its intended recipients with the highest levels of accuracy and follow-up.
Al Zaabi added that these efforts reflect the Sultanate of Oman’s humanitarian message and its steadfast role in supporting those affected by crises. He stressed that the Organization continues to strengthen its relief and humanitarian efforts in support of the people of Gaza during these exceptional circumstances.
