Oman condemns ‘racist comments’ from Israeli minister

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has denounced the extreme, racist statements made by an official of the Israeli occupation, in which he denied the existence of the brotherly Palestinian people, and his use of a misleading map that contradicts facts and the international law.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today, Oman expressed its total rejection of such provocative, irresponsible statements and actions, which represent a blatant violation of all international laws and norms. Oman calls on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities by deterring these incitement practices targeting the Palestinian people.

Oman also reiterated its support for all regional and international efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace in a manner that would enable the brotherly Palestinian people to obtain all their legitimate rights and establish their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Al Quds as its capital, in accordance with the two-state solution, the resolutions of international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative. – ONA
