Muscat: The Supreme Committee dealing with Covid-19 pandemic has reviewed the report of the technical team tasked to follow up the recent developments of the pandemic & its new strains in the Sultanate, and the worrying increase of cases and ICU hospitalized patients. Accordingly, to halt further spread of the pandemic and to protect the healthcare system, the committee decided to:
Keep the Sultanate’s land borders closed until further notice
Allow citizens abroad to enter the Sultanate through land boarder, provided to adhere to a seven-day institutional isolation, plus other procedures imposed upon arriving through else boarders.
