    Asian worker arrested for storing prohibited cigarette cartons in Oman

    Muscat: Oman customs on Tuesday raids an Asian worker house, seizes illegal cigarettes cartons in Al Amerat.

    In a statement Oman Customs said: The Compliance and Risk Assessment Department raided the home of an Asian worker in Al Amerat and seized more than 11,500 restricted and prohibited cigarette cartons. In the Seeb market, it raided a shop and seized more than 430 cigarette cartons and 305 kilograms of tobacco derivatives.
