    • Oman Customs thwarts attempt to smuggle tobacco, cigarettes

    Muscat: Oman Customs busts passenger’s attempt to smuggle prohibited and restricted cigarettes, tobacco into the Sultanate of Oman.

    In a statement Oman Customs said: Sa’ara Port Customs thwarted a passenger’s attempt to smuggle quantities of restricted cigarettes and prohibited tobacco derivatives, which he hid in the cavities of his vehicle and among his personal belongings.
