The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism stated that the Oman Desert Marathon will start on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from the village of Al-Wasel in the Wilayat of Bidiyah in the Al-Sharqiyah North Governorate, under the auspices of His Excellency Azzan bin Qasim Al-Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism, with the participation of 500 competitors from 40 countries.
The marathon consists of 4 stages for different distances – 47km, 55m, 42km and four different perspectives of one of the most beautiful deserts of the world, and its races will continue until January 24, 2023
