    Muscat: Oman Economic Stimulus Plan: ministry of finance issues financial circular on awarding government contracts worth RO 10,000 or less to SME’s

    In a statement Ministry of Finance said: As part of Economic Stimulus plan which aims to strengthen economic recovery, and enhance national economy;

    And in order to support SME’s to achieve value-added for the national economy and contribute towards economic diversification;

    All Ministries, Government units and SOE’s shall award Government contracts, including supply and provision of services contracts, which worth RO 10,000 or less SME’s (whose owners hold RIYADA card). This can be waived by a justifiable decision from the head of the concerned unit. said in the statement OMAN_MOF
