Muscat: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Beirut issued a clarification statement, denies what was being circulated on social media, that the ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Lebanese Republic had stated that the Sultanate of Oman would finance a Lebanese opera house during his meeting with the Lebanese Minister of Culture, Muhammad Wissam Murtada, on Monday morning.
This denial comes after a Lebanese newspaper published a statement by the Lebanese Minister of Culture in which he said that the Sultanate of Oman would finance the construction of a cultural landmark, an “opera house.”
