Tokyo: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Tokyo today held a reception on the occasion of the 54th Glorious National Day, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Japan.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Miyagi Takuma, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, representing the Japanese government.
His Excellency the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Tokyo delivered a speech in which he said, “It is a source of pride to recall on this immortal national anniversary the achievements made by the Sultanate of Oman throughout its long journey, stressing the solid foundations of the Sultanate of Oman’s foreign policy, which adopts a commitment to peace, dialogue, tolerance and harmony at the global level.
His Excellency referred to the development of the history of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, praising the level of strong relations and reviewing the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman in the field of clean energy, noting the ambitious plans to produce green hydrogen and commitment to zero neutrality by 2050, and Oman Vision 2040.
