Muscat: As part of its efforts to support the private sectors in Oman, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry appeared to ROP to exempt the private sector institutions from fines imposed for the late renewal of expat workers’ resident cards.
Royal Oman Police on Tuesday announces to exempt establishments and individuals from paying fine for delayed renewal of resident cards until Sept 1. 2022
In a statement Royal Oman Police (ROP) said: “In implementation of His Majesty’s Royal directives, establishments and individuals will be exempted from paying fines pertaining to the delayed renewal of residence and resident cards effective from tomorrow Wednesday 6 April, 2022, provided that the current situation is rectified before 1 September, 2022.”
