Oman: First Women’s Endowment Forum Held

MuscatThe Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs today organized the first women’s endowment forum under the slogan “Women’s Endowment for Education and Guidance”.

The forum, held at Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, coincides with the Sultanate of Oman’s celebration of Omani Women’s Day, the 17th of October.

The event aimed to spread awareness about a community budget titled “Women’s Endowment for Education and Guidance”.

The opening of the forum was held under the auspices of Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. The forum included a visual presentation on women’s endowments and a speech about women’s endowments for education and guidance.

It highlighted the importance of donating, past and present contributions of donation portfolios and a call on members of society to take the initiative and donate. The forum also included a seminar on women’s donations and a review of endowment experiences, community partnerships and ways to develop women’s endowments.
