Oman GC Organizes 22nd Meeting with communication and media departments

Muscat: The Government Communication Center, in cooperation with the Media Training Center at the Ministry of Information, today organized the twenty-second government communication meeting.

The meeting included a training program entitled “Managing Digital Media Content and Optimal Dealing with Algorithms.” The program aimed to enhance the participants’ skills in digital content management, optimal media content planning, how to develop a sustainable content strategy, and learn the importance and how to interact with algorithms.

The program also touched on analysis tools and indicators for measuring the performance of digital content and data analysis. The meeting program also included practical applications that enhance the skills of those in charge of communication and media departments in managing media and digital content, and adapting it to be compatible with government institutions and the nature of government media work.

Zamzam bint Hamad Al Hinai from the Government Communication Center said that organizing specialized programs in the field of digital media contributes to improving media practices at the level of communication and media departments in government institutions, and enabling those in charge of them to achieve professionalism in dealing with various media platforms, in a way that achieves the institution’s goals in its communication. With the community.

The meeting was attended by directors and representatives of communication and media departments in government units, and the training session was presented by trainer Muhannad bin Sulaiman Al Nuaimi, a trainer and professor in digital journalism and a consultant for communication and international relations from the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Government Communication Center works to organize these meetings periodically, taking into account the requirements of government institutions in order to address their challenges and develop the capabilities and skills of those responsible for communication and media in these institutions.
