Oman gets eight on-demand taxi service licensed by Ministry of Transport

As part of the efforts of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology to regulate the activity of taxis in the Sultanate of Oman, the Ministry announced that the number of taxi applications licensed by the Ministry has reached 8 “on demand” applications, whether in the immediate or advance reservation system, after fulfilling the requirements and provisions of the regulation of the Land Transport Law. .

The licenses granted to these applications include: (O-taxi, Uber, Marhaba, HALA TAXI, TM DONE TAXI, Tanweel , Saidaty )

On-demand smart applications provide a system for tracking and monitoring the flight path, at fixed prices, and specified before the trip, while ensuring privacy and security for the user. The applications also allow correspondence with the driver through the application and cancellation of the request with ease. monthly and providing an independent system for making taxi requests for institutions and companies.
