    • Oman Grand Mufti Receives Pakistan’s Highest Decoration

    Muscat: Dr. Arif Alvi, President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, granted His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, the Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, the “Star of Pakistan” medal, one of the highest civilian honors granted by the Pakistani state.

    This comes according to what was published by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Islamabad, in appreciation of the great efforts made by His Eminence in the service of science and Islam.

    The medal was received on behalf of His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud Al Siyabi, Secretary-General of the Mufti’s Office, in a ceremony held today at the Presidential Palace as part of the celebrations of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan of the 75th anniversary of the National Day.
