Oman grants 281 residential lands in August 2020

Muscat: Statistics issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) in its monthly bulletin showed that the total land granted during the month of August 2020 was 281.

The statistic showed that the Governorate of South Al Sharqiya is the largest share of these lands, as the number of lands granted reached 100, while North Al Batinah with 50 lands, followed by Al Dakhiliya and Al Wusta governorates with 32 and 27 lands, respectively.

While the share of the Governorate of Muscat came with 17 lands granted during the month of August, and the following is the rest of the share of the remaining governorates of the Sultanate:

– Al Dhahirah: 16 lands
– Al Batinah South: 14 lands
– Dhofar: 12 lands
– North Al Sharqiyah: 7 lands
– Musandam: 5 lands
– Al Buraimi: one land

The statistic also revealed that the value of real estate trading in the Sultanate amounted to 316 million last August, up by 50% compared to July 2020, when it reached only 160 million.

Likewise, the number of properties issued during the month of August 2020 reached 14,263, while the number of properties issued during the same month to citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council states reached 8.
