The online meeting reviewed and studied a number of proposed guides, including Financial Disclosure Guide, a guide for enhancing integrity in state-owned firms, a guide for parallel financial investigation about corruption cases and a guide on evidence of legal entities’ responsibility for corruption crimes in GCC states.
The meeting also discussed areas of coordination with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, the activation of mechanisms for implementing guiding principles on the exchange of expertise between the anti-corruption departments. The steps envisage the preparation of an action plan to upgrade coordination with international relations departments concerned and the conclusion of a memorandum of understanding with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime. – ONA
