Muscat: The Omani Society for Fine Arts today played hosts to a Japanese calligraphy art exhibition titled “KARMA”. The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Oman.
The event marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Oman and Japan.
The exhibition showcases the works of three main calligraphers, who are Yoho Kawaguchi and Serrin Kawaguchi and the Belgian artist Ingrid van Heyden, and a total of 52 works of art.
The exhibition, which will run until 10 December 2022, includes a presentation of calligraphers’ experience and a general workshop for artists.
