Oman Human Rights Commission Commends Ease of Voting in Municipal Council Elections

Muscat: Oman Human Rights Commission today updated itself about the progress made in Municipal Councils Third Term Membership Elections.

A delegation from the commission visited the Elections Control Centre where it held meetings with members of the Main Committee.

The team also visited the communications centre where it took note about mechanism of call reception and reporting of cases to specialized panels.

The commission expressed its great appreciation for the efforts made in organizing the municipal elections which, it said, scaled new unprecedented heights, thanks to the application of technological advancement.
