Oman inaugurates FIH Hockey5s World Cup 2024 trophy in Muscat

Muscat: The main committee of the World Cup for Futsal Hockey Championship, which will be hosted by the Sultanate of Oman during the period from January 24 to 31 of next year, “Oman 2024” in Muscat Governorate, inaugurated the original version of the World Championship Cup for the public in Al Mouj Muscat, in the presence of Dr. Marwan bin Juma Al Juma, Director of the World Cup Championship, and a number of members.

The main committee and the large crowds gathered to watch the original cup of the world cup, and the original cup will tour several places in Muscat Governorate in the coming days.

The original version of the Futsal Hockey World Cup was made in Switzerland, made of gold, weighs 5 kgs, and symbolizes modernity and contemporaneity in the game.

His Excellency Basil bin Ahmed Al-Rawas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth, Chairman of the Main Committee for the Hockey Futsal World Cup, said: There are 30 days remaining until the start of the most prominent global event in the history of hockey, explaining that the Main Committee and the rest of the other working committees are working hard to host this important international event. And promoting the Sultanate of Oman from various aspects.
