    • Oman to increases work permit fees for expats: Minister of Labour

    Muscat: The Ministry of Labor announced during the press conference that fees for issuing and renewing licenses to bring in expatriate manpower have been raised according to some professions.

    The following are the fees raised.

    Higher occupations (Top level/senior level) = OMR 2001

    Medium level occupations = OMR 1001

    Technical and specialized occupations = OMR 601

    Artisanal fishermen: OMR 361

    Non-mentioned occupations : OMR 301

    Housemaids (from one to three workers): OMR 141

    Housemaids (from four workers and above): OMR 241

    Farmer and camel’s breeder ( from one to three): OMR 201

    Farmer and camel’s breeder (from four and above) : OMR 301

    Fees of changing a worker’s date: OMR 5

    Transferring a worker from a current sponsor to another : OMR 5

    This came during the press conference to unveil the executive plan of the Ministry of Labor for 2021
