MoCIIP announces anti-dumping probe into import of China and Iran’s polished glass sheets and plates

Muscat: The Ministry announces an anti-dumping investigation on imports of polished glass sheets and plates from China and Iran. All concerned parties are invited to register as interested parties within ten (10) days from this announcement.

MoCIIP said: “The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion hereby announces the initia- tion of an anti-dumping investigation into imports of polished glass sheets and plates (wheth- er clear, opaque, coated, reflective, non-reflective, or non-reinforced) originating from or ex- ported by China and Iran. These products are classified under customs codes (70051000, 70052100, and 70052900). This announcement aligns with Official Bulletin No. (48) issued by the Technical Secretariat for Anti-Dumping Practices in International Trade.

The Ministry invites all concerned parties, including suppliers of the subject product, to con- tact the Competition Protection and Monopoly Prevention Center— Anti-Dumping Depart- ment-to register as an interested party in the investigation within ten (10) days from the date of this announcement.
