Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister received here today Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The meeting touched on bilateral relations and following up the outcome of the Royal visit of His Majesty the Sultan to Iran last month.
The two sides reviewed means of activating the joint cooperation in the cultural, trade, economic and investment areas, in addition to the energy and transport projects and other areas that serve the joint interests.
The two ministers also exchanged views on various issues at the regional and international arenas. They affirmed their full support for the efforts exerted to maintain peace and stability in the world.
The meeting was attended by ambassador at large Sheikh Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Hinai, Sheikh Ahmed Hashil Al Maskari, Head of the GCC and Regional Neighbourhood and a number of officials at the Foreign Ministry. – ONA
