Oman Journalist Association Felicitates Participants in World IFJ Congress Preparations

Muscat: Oman Journalist Association (OJA) held a ceremony today to honour the committees, working teams and public and private establishments that participated in the “31st World IFJ Congress”, under the auspices of Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information.

In a speech at the event, Dr. Abdullah expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts undertaken by OJA and media persons for their contribution towards the success of the 31st World IFJ Congress, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman in May 2022.

In a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA), the minister valued the action taken by public and private media organizations in highlighting Oman’s potentials, notably in the tourism and investment sectors. He exhorted Omani journalists and media personnel to double efforts for promoting Oman’s regional and international capacities.

The ceremony included a photo exhibition featuring photos taken during the 31st IFJ Congress—both the preparatory stage and the activities of the conference.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Abdullah felicitated the participants, supporters, establishments and individuals who contributed to the success of the 31st World IFJ Congress.
