Kuwaiti Joint Command and Staff College Delegation Visits Academy for Strategic and Defense Studies

Muscat: Maj. Gen. Hamad bin Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defense Studies, received today at his office in Bait Al Falaj Camp a delegation from the Mubarak Al Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College of the State of Kuwait.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed a number of matters of mutual interest, with particular focus on academic and training cooperation.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers from the Academy for Strategic and Defense Studies.

As part of the visit, the Kuwaiti delegation also visited the Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC) at the Academy. The delegation was received by Brigadier Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Mishaikhi, Commandant of the Joint Command and Staff College.

During the visit, the delegation viewed a visual presentation highlighting the JCSC, its academic structure, and its diverse training and educational programs. The delegation also toured the college’s facilities, departments, systems, and training equipment.

The delegation further visited the Center for Strategic and Defense Studies at the Academy in Bait Al Falaj Camp, where they were received by the Acting Head of the Center. They were briefed on the Center’s roles, responsibilities, and key activities in the strategic and defense studies fields.
