Oman launches Commercial franchise program from February 20


Muscat: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, will launch a commercial franchise program that will start from the Governorate of Muscat, passing through most of the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, during the period from 20 to 23 February.

The program aims to educate male and female business owners and qualify and develop Omani companies to take advantage of the advantages and opportunities of commercial franchising by organizing seminars and workshops for commercial franchising in the Chamber’s branches in the various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

Engineer Hammoud bin Salem Al Saadi, Second Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber’s branch in Al Batinah South Governorate, said that the Chamber seeks to provide qualitative initiatives that contribute to the service of private sector institutions. Al-Saadi added that the Chamber focuses, through the program, on involving the largest number of business owners in the various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, as it will organize the franchise program in most of the governorates with the aim of reaching the largest possible segment of those interested in the field of commercial franchising and those wishing to develop their companies.

Al-Saadi called on Omani companies to invest this opportunity and register in the franchise program, pointing out that the aim of organizing the program is to qualify Omani companies to become a franchise grantor or to enable them to reach the companies granting the franchise, and to strengthen the basics of the corporate entity that allows the establishment of specialized companies that bring together the grantor. It is granted to the trademark and organizes the work mechanism between the parties according to the best experiences in the field of commercial franchising.
