Oman launches Movie Premier “A House of Wonders”

Muscat: The Ministry of Information, represented by Nizwa Magazine, today launched a movie premier “A House of Wonders” at the House of Musical Arts of the Royal Opera House Muscat. It highlights in three series the Omani presence in Zanzibar and East Africa.

The Ministry also launched a book documenting the Omani civilizational role in the region.

Friedrich Klutsch, Director of the movies pointed out that the history of the Omani presence in East Africa is a long one that began on the coast of the Indian Ocean and extended for several years. He said: “The more we dig in this history, the more information we find”.

The House of Wonders is the main theme of the three movies. Each part of these movies lasts 50 minutes and produced in three languages, namely Arabic, English and Swahili.

These movies lay emphasis on the Omanis’ civilizational contribution in the political, commercial, social and cultural fields.
