Oman midday work ban set to start from June

Muscat: The mandatory midday break for Oman labourers who work in the sun during summer months will begin from June, the Ministry of Labour has announced.

The ministry of labour on Tuesday issued a circular stated “Workers must not work in construction sites or open areas of high temperature at noon time from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

The three-month midday break rules will be enforced until August according to a statement
