Oman military Hajj mission leaves for the Holy Land

Muscat: The military pilgrimage mission for the year 1444 AH left the country today, heading to the Holy Land to perform the blessed Hajj, on board a number of transport planes of the Royal Air Force of Oman.

The conduct of the military pilgrimage mission comes based on the royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, who are on duty and retired from the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other military and security agencies.

The moral guidance and military ceremonies, headed by the Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, supervise the preparation and organization for the conduct of the Hajj military mission, and take all procedures related to the mission.

The military mission is accompanied by an administrative team that includes all administrative, medical, media, technical and advisory specialties. To provide the best services to the members of the mission and to make the pilgrims perform their rituals in the holy sites with ease and ease, according to the plans set in advance, and in a way that achieves the faith goals of this blessed journey.

Colonel Saif bin Muhanna al-Riyami, commander of the mission, and members of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other military and security agencies expressed their happiness with the royal bounty. He added that since the adoption of the general plan for the conduct of the military Hajj mission for the year 1444 AH, the committee accelerated the pace of preparation and prior preparation for holding preparatory meetings, and the main tasks and duties were distributed, whether administrative, medical, air traffic and transportation, as well as the security aspects represented by the Royal Oman Police; With the aim of facilitating and ensuring smooth procedures for pilgrims to the Holy Land to perform the rituals.

A number of pilgrims of the military Hajj mission, members of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other military and security agencies, expressed their feelings of faith to participate in the Hajj mission this year, praising the efforts made by the mission from various sides in facilitating the performance of this duty. The delegation was seen off upon its departure from Seeb Air Base, retired Major General Ali bin Salem Al Maamari, and a number of senior officers of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other military and security agencies.
