Muscat: Oman Ministry of Commerce to stop promotional offers, discounts from commercial establishments starting today.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) stated that the service of receiving requests for exhibitions and conferences in the ministry’s general building and its departments in the governorates will be stopped, starting today, Sunday, January 31, 2021, until further notice.
Based on the decision of the Supreme committee in charge of examining the mechanism of dealing with development resulting from spread of the Covid-19 by banning group events and suspending local events and sports activities, including exhibitions that result in gatherings.
