    • Ministry of Economy forms Taskforce to Stimulate the National Economy

    Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Said bin Mohammed Al Saqri Minister of Economy issued a Ministerial Resolution NO. (2020/148) forming a taskforce to develop policies and programs to stimulate the national economy

    Taskforce will be supervised by His Excellency.

    Dr. Nasser bin Rashid AL Mawali undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy

    The Taskforce will comprise of member from the following authorities:

    1, Ministry of Finance

    2, Central Bank of Oman

    3, Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion

    4, Oman Chamber of Commerce & industry

    5, Tawazun program

    6, State and Shura Councils

    7, State and Shura Councils knowledge Support Team from Ministry of Economy

    8, Experts and academics

    The Taskforce will be responsible for proposing policies and economic programs to enhance the economic activities in the Sultanate and stimulate the macroeconomy amid challenges posed by Covid-19 pandemic
