Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Transport assigns Galfar to repair Al Batinah highway damaged in cyclone shaheen
In a statement Oman news agency said: In implementation of the royal directives of His Majesty the Sultan to speed up the repair of the infrastructure that was damaged as a result of the tropical situation that the Sultanate has been subjected to, “Shaheen” announced the Ministerial Committee to assess the damages resulting from the tropical situation affecting the homes of citizens and their various properties.
In the governorates that were directly affected by the “Shaheen” Tropical Status Center, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology announced today that the Galfar Engineering and Contracting Company assigned the work of repairing the damages caused to the Al-Batinah Highway as a result of the “Shaheen” tropical state, starting from the state of Musanah to the state of Saham, added in the statement ONA
Galfar is proud of the confidence of the Ministerial Committee to assess the damages caused by the tropical condition Shaheen and the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and assign it the work of repairing the damages caused to the Al Batinah highway due to the cyclone shaheen. In implementation of the royal orders, the company will work to speed up the completion of the road in accordance with the approved specifications so that the situation will return to normal as soon as possible, said The Galfar Engineering & Contracting on twitter.
Galfar continues its support for the national recovery efforts in different areas affected by cyclone Shaheen by utilizing its capabilities to rehabilitate the roads and ensure the continuity & ease of movement in line with the great efforts by volunteers & different entities.
