Oman ministry records 192 labor violations

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour (MOL) has recorded 192 labor violations in Dhofar since December 16-23, 2024.

In a statement Ministry of Labour said: “The Ministry of Labour, represented by the General Directorate of Labor in Dhofar Governorate, announced the insfpection campaigns in the areas of Al-Imtiaz, Shalim, and Al-Halaniyat Islands, during the period from December 16-23, 2023, where 76 work sites were visited, and (192) labor violations were recorded, including (148) for those who work in regulated professions in which they are not authorized to work, and a number of (44) who work for someone other than the employer, and legal measures are being taken against them.”
