    • OMAN: National Road Safety Committee Holds Meeting

    Muscat: The National Committee for Road Safety held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of the Inspector General of Police and Customs.

    The meeting highlighted annual statistics on the levels of road safety in Oman and the efforts of traffic safety institutes in the governorates in raising the awareness of different segments of the society.

    Moreover, the committee reviewed various indices and results of studies related to road safety.

    The committee lauded the level of awareness among members of the society and the cooperation of citizens and residents in adhering to traffic regulations.
